Our Minister & Family

Brandon McClain, Sr. & Dimonica McClain, RN.

A Legacy of Leadership, Service, and Faith

Brandon serves as a Step 2 Representative for APWU Local 259, where he meets directly with USPS Labor Relations to resolve employee disputes. In this role, he advocates for fair treatment and contractual compliance, working to settle grievances related to discipline, contract violations, and workplace conditions.

Brandon McClain, Sr. is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health at Western Governors University, while also completing a Certification in Medical Coding and Billing. He has previously completed coursework at Gateway Community College and the University of South Florida, where he pursued a pre-medical track. A lifelong learner, Brandon remains committed to advancing his academic and professional goals.

In addition to his educational pursuits, Brandon is a passionate labor advocate and avid reader. He serves as Chief Steward with the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), Local 259, where he represents employees in Step 2 grievance arbitrations against USPS Labor. Under his leadership, the union has secured over $300,000 in settlements and counting, and he currently maintains a strong winning record in disciplinary and contractual grievance cases.

Beyond his union work, Brandon thrives in the art of debate, passionately defending both contract negotiations and biblical truths with equal enthusiasm. His preaching style is illustrative yet impactful, using real-world applications to bring scripture to life. In addition to his advocacy and ministry, he is also the proud owner of B & J Moving Company. Brandon is also the host of B-Side Unfiltered, a bold and unapologetic platform where he dives into raw, real, and unfiltered discussions on politics, social issues, and religion. With thought-provoking conversations and a no-holds-barred approach, he challenges perspectives, sparks dialogue and brings truth to the forefront.

Dimonica McClain is a registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital and will be graduating in December 2025 as a Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for healthcare extends beyond the hospital as she teaches CNA classes at Hillsborough Community College, helping shape the next generation of caregivers. Deeply involved in ministry, Dimonica actively serves in multiple church ministries and leads the women’s Bible class on a monthly basis.

Together, Brandon and Dimonica are devoted parents to two sons: Brandon McClain, Jr., a law major at Hillsborough Community College, and Jordan McClain, a student in the Hillsborough County School system. In 2022, Brandon and Dimonica deepened their commitment to ministry, and in 2023, they took on the work of what was formerly known as Will Duke Road Church of Christ, now South Central Church of Christ. Their mission continues to be one of faith, service, and community impact.
